Stephanie Christie

smc-001Stephanie Christie considers herself very lucky to have been taught Scottish harp by Alison Kinnaird  at an early Fèis Rois.  Already a musician, with experience in ceilidh bands and ensembles as an accordion player, the clarsach became a passion.  She teaches regular Saturday harp classes and both arranges and composes, in addition to performing at concerts, weddings, receptions etc.  Stephanie works with other musicians as often as possible, and is half of Clarbo –a wind and harp duo.  She has played for the National Theatre of Scotland’s production of” Macbeth” and is a regular Fèis tutor and enthusiastic  Fèis supporter.  Stephanie has many years of experience in working with music for children, both in class and individually.  In her other life she is a qualified piano teacher with a busy teaching practice
