Fèis Mhoireibh is the Moray branch of the Fèis (pronounced Faysh which means festival in Gaelic) organisation for children to learn and enjoy Highland music, song, dance and to experience some Gaelic culture and language.

We run throughout the year a programme of events including our Fèis Weekend 31st May and 1st June.

The Fèis weekend at Moray College in Elgin gives children the opportunity to learn different musical instruments, dance, art, story telling and shinty. Download the booking form to find out what classes are on offer this year.

Feis Weekend

Fèis Mhoireibh is a weekend teaching festival of traditional Gaelic music, song and dance for young people in Moray. The Fèis encourages young people to take an active part in enjoying the music,song, dance and sport of the Highlands. Tuition in the following classes will be offered this year. Accordian Gaelic Singing Celtic Harp Tin Whistle Keyboard Step Dance Bagpipes (level 3&4 only) Chanter Art & Storytelling Bodhran/Percussion/Drums. In addition to the above classes, participants can choose SHINTY from 4:30pm – 6:00pm on Saturday only.
